National school exercise scheme launched in bid to tackle childhood obesity

The U.K. has launched a new exercise regime, specifically aiming to tackle childhood obesity.

The so-called Health Active Schools Systems (HASS) will allow teachers and parents to closely monitor students’ activities throughout the school day, and is part of the Government’s wider Childhood Obesity Strategy.
