Alcohol flips brain into hungry mode

Scientists discovered that alcohol manages to switch the brain into starvation mode, increasing appetite and hunger.
UK researchers conducted a test on mice, which revealed that the consumption of alcohol activates the brain signals which tell the body to consume more food. This would also explain why many people tend to say that they eat more once they had a few drinks.
